A Poem for Switchboard: Celebrating 50 Years of Listening to the LGBTQIA+ community (1974-2024)

To celebrate their 50th anniversary, Switchboard have created this anthology of 26 poems, containing submissions from current and former volunteers, as well as service users who have accessed our support line. This anthology explores the thoughts, feelings, fears and joys of the LGBTQIA+ community, offering an insight into their service, the lives of those who contact Switchboard and key milestones in queer history.
